West Front Street will be closed on Thursday, December 18, between South Center Street and South Meeting Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The closure is necessary for the demolition of The Livery Building, located at 120 W. Front Street behind the Vance Hotel parking lot.
In addition, part of the public parking lot at South Meeting Street and West Front Street will be closed for the week. This lot is frequently used for the Rotary Farmer’s Market.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area during the closure.
