Weather Outlook: Warm Today, Cooler Weekend Ahead

On Saturday, the forecast calls for highs in the upper 80s with increasing chances of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Some storms may bring gusty winds and small hail. Rain chances stand at about 60 percent. Evening showers are expected to taper off, leaving behind cloudy skies overnight with a low near 64.

By Sunday, temperatures will begin to cool, with highs near 76 under mostly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will dip to the mid-50s, marking the start of a noticeable temperature drop. Winds will shift out of the north-northeast, bringing drier and more comfortable air into the region.
