Two Suspects Arrested Following Larceny at Local Business

Iredell County, NC – On Friday, January 31, 2025, law enforcement responded to a reported larceny in progress at Evergreen Heating & Air, located at 1352 Jennings Road. Surveillance footage captured two individuals allegedly stealing approximately $2,000 worth of copper from the property.

As deputies arrived, the suspects attempted to flee in a vehicle but became stuck in a muddy field. A subsequent search utilizing Canine Levi led officers to the suspects, who were located half a mile away and taken into custody.

Suspects and Charges

The individuals arrested were identified as:

  • Larry Edward Moore (44) of Harmony, who was held without bond due to a prior release on bond for felony larceny.
  • Ashley Jane Hubbell (30) of Harmony, who was issued a $2,500 bond.

Their charges include:

  • Larry Edward Moore: Two counts of felony larceny, felony conspiracy, misdemeanor resisting, obstructing & delaying a public officer, first-degree trespass, and misdemeanor damage to property.
  • Ashley Jane Hubbell: Felony conspiracy, misdemeanor resisting, obstructing & delaying a public officer, and misdemeanor first-degree trespass.

Criminal History

Records indicate Moore has prior convictions, including multiple counts of felony breaking & entering, felony larceny, and additional misdemeanor offenses.

Both suspects were processed and await further legal proceedings.
