On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, investigators with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence located at 159 Ivydale Road in Harmony. The operation, led by the Narcotics Investigations and Criminal Investigations Division, resulted in the arrests of two individuals: Lander Herbert Bustle III, age 48, and Darran Deshawn Lyons, age 39.
Bustle was charged with felony Level III trafficking by possession and felony conspiracy. Lyons was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine.
The investigation began on Monday, April 14, after authorities received information regarding a suspicious package being shipped from California to the residence. The package was suspected to contain a significant quantity of crystal methamphetamine. Investigators confirmed the package’s contents and began surveillance of the property.
On April 16, investigators observed the package being delivered and later saw Bustle retrieve and open it. Following these observations, the search warrant was executed. Inside the home, officers located Bustle, Lyons, and an unidentified female.
During the search, approximately 24 grams of crystal methamphetamine were found in Lyons’ possession. Authorities also discovered that Lyons is currently on federal probation related to a prior conviction connected to an earlier narcotics investigation by the same agency.
The package in question contained approximately 1,349 grams—about three pounds—of crystal methamphetamine. The estimated street value of the drugs is $137,300. In addition, a small amount of marijuana and a handgun were recovered from the residence.
Bustle and Lyons were taken to the Iredell County Detention Center and appeared before Magistrate Thompson. Bustle received a secured bond of $1,000,000, while Lyons was issued a secured bond of $100,000.
Sheriff Darren Campbell stated that the outcome was the result of detailed investigative work by the involved departments. He noted that the Sheriff’s Office remains committed to addressing repeat offenses and drug activity in the county.
