North Eastway Drive in Troutman will be closed for most of the day today between Johnson Street and the Town Hall entrance to allow crews to complete infrastructure upgrades and repairs.
Town officials say access to Troutman Town Hall will remain available via the north entrance on North Eastway Drive, as well as from Scroggs Street.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time while the work is underway. Officials thank the public for their patience as the improvements are completed.
