On January 21, 2024, the Troutman Police Department received a report of child sexual abuse, prompting an investigation by the department’s Criminal Investigations Unit.
Following the investigation, warrants were issued for Arlo Gutierrez, 51, of Troutman, on charges including Statutory Rape of a Child, Statutory Sex Offense with a Child, and five counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.
Gutierrez was arrested on January 24, 2025, in Mooresville by Troutman officers with assistance from the Mooresville Police Department. He is currently being held without bond at the Iredell County Detention Center.
