Traffic stop in Troutman leads to drug arrest

Troutman, NC – On Monday, October 13, at around 9 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. During the stop, officers found that the driver, identified as 31-year-old Tanya Follrod of Statesville, was in possession of methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia.

Follrod was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken before a magistrate and ordered to remain in custody, as she was already out on bond for unrelated charges.
