The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop on Turnersburg Highway resulted in a drug arrest Friday, August 22.
Deputy Moncus, assigned to the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team, stopped a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. The driver, identified as 49-year-old Lander Herbert Bustle III, was found with suspected narcotics visible inside the vehicle.
Bustle was asked to step out of the car while Canine Kash conducted an exterior sniff. The dog alerted to the presence of narcotics, leading to a search of the vehicle. Deputies reported finding 40 dosage units of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine.
Bustle was arrested and taken to the Iredell County Detention Center. A magistrate ordered that he be held without bond, noting he was already out on bond for similar charges.
