Iredell County, NC – A routine traffic stop on March 1, 2025, led to the arrest of three individuals on multiple drug and firearm charges.
Sergeant N. Hodges of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office conducted the stop at Mazeppa Road and Ricks Lane for a motor vehicle violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, Sergeant Hodges spoke with the driver, Brian Thomas Miller, and passengers Chelsea Nicole Millsaps and Lane Alexander Perry. Sergeant A. Foster arrived to assist, and Canine Levi was deployed, alerting to the presence of narcotics.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered methamphetamine, fentanyl, a concealed firearm, and drug paraphernalia. During the search, Millsaps attempted to conceal and destroy approximately 29.23 grams of methamphetamine. A records check confirmed that both Millsaps and Perry were convicted felons, prohibiting them from legally possessing firearms.
All three individuals were arrested and transported to the Iredell County Detention Center, where they were charged as follows:
