Organizers of the Taylorsville Apple Festival are warning vendors about a scam targeting the festival’s official Facebook page. According to festival staff, unauthorized individuals have been posting comments on official posts, instructing vendors to message them privately.
Festival representatives urge vendors not to respond to these messages or send any money, stating that all official communication from the Taylorsville Apple Festival comes only from Gina Kay Blankenship Honosky or Erin Goodwin, the two individuals who manage the page.
Organizers say they are actively working to remove the scam comments as they appear. Vendors with questions are encouraged to call the festival office at 828-632-2999 to verify any communication.
The 2025 Taylorsville Apple Festival is scheduled for October 18.
