During its meeting on Monday, December 1, 2025, the City of Statesville welcomed its newly elected leadership. Honorable Judge Joseph N. Crosswhite, Senior Resident Superior Court Judge, administered the oath of office in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
The ceremony included the swearing-in of four new council members, one returning member, and the City’s new mayor. The newly sworn officials are: Doug Hendrix, Mayor; Doris Allison, re-elected to her third term representing Ward Three; Trey Robertson, At-large; James Pressly, At-large; Kristi Pfeufer, Ward Two; and Tip Nicholson, Ward Five.
They will serve alongside continuing council members David Jones (Ward One), Amy Lawton (Ward Four), and Lisa Pearson (Ward Six) to complete the City’s governing body. During the organizational portion of the meeting, David Jones was also re-elected to serve as Mayor Pro Tem.
The City of Statesville congratulates its new leadership and looks forward to their service and dedication to the community.
