The City of Statesville is inviting residents to apply for open seats on its Stormwater Advisory Commission.
The nine-member commission provides recommendations to City Council on stormwater management, including policies, programs, best practices, and possible funding sources. Its purpose is to reduce runoff, pollution, and erosion while protecting streams and other natural resources.
Meetings are held quarterly on the third Thursday of each month at noon at City Hall. Members are appointed by City Council to serve three-year terms.
Residents interested in applying can submit an application through the city’s website at https://bit.ly/45owFHv.
