Troutman, NC – A routine traffic stop in the early hours of January 28, 2025, led to the arrest of a Statesville man on drug-related charges.
At approximately 1:35 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of South Main Street in Troutman after confirming that the vehicle’s registered owner, Allen West, 49, of Statesville, had an outstanding order for arrest.
Following his arrest, a search of West revealed methamphetamine in his possession. As a result, he was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to being served with the outstanding warrants.
West was placed under a $11,000 secured bond and remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
