A Statesville man has been arrested in connection to a stolen vehicle and vehicle break-in reported earlier this week.
Bradlee GT Farmer, 27, of Trent Road in Statesville, was taken into custody on Monday, April 7, by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. He is charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony breaking or entering to a motor vehicle.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of James Farm Road after receiving a report of a stolen Chevrolet pickup truck. The reporting party stated that the truck had been taken sometime over the weekend. During the investigation, deputies also discovered that a second vehicle on the property had been broken into and rummaged through.
The missing truck was later located being transported on a wrecker after the Statesville Police Department had it towed. Authorities determined that Farmer had been in possession of the vehicle prior to the theft being reported.
Farmer was booked into the Iredell County Detention Center with bond set at $15,000 secured. He is scheduled to appear in District Court on April 29.
