William Connor Roberts, 20, of Statesville was arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies on Saturday, April 12, following a reported disturbance at the Alexander County Fairgrounds.
Roberts is facing multiple charges, including assault by pointing a gun, going armed to the terror of the people, disorderly conduct by fighting, and possession of marijuana. Deputies responded to the fairgrounds after receiving reports of a man causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, they took Roberts into custody.
At the time of the latest report, Roberts remained in the Alexander County Detention Center. He was scheduled to appear in District Court in Taylorsville on Monday, with his next court date set for May 19.
