The Statesville Fire Department will host a community meeting on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Fire Station 1, located at 822 Fifth Street in Statesville. The meeting will take place in the station’s training room.
Residents will have the opportunity to meet members of the department, ask questions, and hear directly from Fire Chief Kurfees. The session is intended to encourage open discussion about safety, services, and the department’s role in the community.
The department encourages public participation and input during the event.
