The City of Statesville has announced that its offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Garbage collection services will also be affected, with a revised sanitation schedule in place for the week.
Residential Sanitation Schedule (January 20-24):
- Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday.
- Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday.
- Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s routes will follow the regular schedule.
Commercial Sanitation Schedule (January 20-24):
For businesses with roll-out carts or garbage containers:
- Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday.
- Routes scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday will remain unchanged.
In addition, the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center and Bentley Community Center will also be closed on January 20, 2025.
