The North Carolina Department of Public Safety’s Office of Violence Prevention has released violence profiles for all 100 counties in the state.
The county-level factsheets compile a range of health and safety data designed to support a public health approach to violence prevention. By providing accessible information on violence-related indicators, the initiative aims to help communities better understand local trends and develop strategies tailored to their specific needs.
State officials say the profiles are intended to inform decision-making among community leaders, public health agencies, and other organizations working to reduce violence across North Carolina.
The profiles are publicly available through the Department of Public Safety’s Office of Violence Prevention.
