On March 29, 2025, at approximately 11:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the parking lot of 152 S. Main Street in Troutman. Upon arrival, the first officer located the victim, who was suffering from a serious hemorrhage caused by an injury to the femoral artery. The officer applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg while awaiting the arrival of emergency medical services.
Preliminary investigations revealed that three individuals had been involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. During the altercation, one of the individuals used a knife to stab the victim. The victim was transported to a regional trauma center and is reported to be in stable condition.
All individuals involved have been identified, and the incident remains under active investigation. Authorities have stated that further information will be released as it becomes available.
