Stabbing Incident Leads to Arrest Warrants Following Home Invasion in Iredell County

In the early morning hours of Monday, May 5, 2025, deputies from the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a residence on Ginger Lane, located east of Mooresville. The call was made around 3:30 a.m. by a female resident who reported that a man, identified as Joshua Andrew Moore, had forced his way into her home by breaking down the door.

According to the caller, Moore physically assaulted her after entering the residence. She reported that she acted in self-defense by using a knife to stab him. When deputies arrived on the scene, Moore had already fled the area.

Deputies obtained further information indicating that Moore was accompanied by a woman identified as Jazmin Marie Webb. Investigators from both the Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene units responded to collect evidence and conduct interviews with the homeowner and nearby witnesses.

Law enforcement officers conducted a search of the surrounding area and located Moore shortly after the incident. He was found with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. Iredell County EMS transported him to a local medical facility, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. Medical personnel later reported that Moore left the hospital before completing treatment.

Crime Scene Investigators recovered evidence from the residence, including the knife used by the victim and surveillance footage from nearby security cameras. Based on evidence and interviews, investigators concluded that Moore and Webb had entered the home with the intent to assault the resident. During the altercation, Moore allegedly took the victim’s cell phone by force.

Following the investigation, arrest warrants were issued for Joshua Andrew Moore on charges of felony first-degree burglary, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony aid and abet, and misdemeanor assault on a female. Arrest warrants were also issued for Jazmin Marie Webb on charges of felony first-degree burglary, felony aid and abet, and misdemeanor simple assault.
