The distribution of the 2026 Solid Waste window decals, which are normally included with annual property tax bills, has been delayed this year.
County officials announced that residents should continue to use their 2025 decals until the new ones arrive. The decals are required for entry and disposal at county solid waste facilities and serve as a way to confirm that the user resides in the county and has paid the appropriate fees.
The Solid Waste Department said that once the 2026 decals are delivered, residents will be notified through a public announcement. At that time, the decals will be available for pickup at the solid waste stations. Officials emphasized that the 2025 stickers will remain valid through the end of this year, ensuring that residents are not impacted by the delay.
