As part of the NC 150 widening project, the North Carolina Department of Transportation has announced a temporary ramp closure to accommodate tree removal operations. Beginning just after midnight on Tuesday, April 8, the entrance ramp from NC 150 to I-77 South will be closed nightly through the morning of Friday, April 11, weather permitting.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured to alternate routes. Eastbound NC 150 drivers will be directed to use Williamson Road and Brawley School Road to access I-77. Westbound NC 150 drivers will be routed to Talbert Road and Brawley School Road.
Motorists are advised to use caution when approaching the work zone, observe posted speed limits, and allow extra travel time to ensure a safe and timely arrival at their destinations.
