The winning numbers from the August 20 drawing were 31, 59, 62, 65, 68, with a Powerball of 5 and a Power Play multiplier of 2x. While no one matched all six numbers, several players won significant prizes. A ticket sold in Tennessee matched all five white balls with the Power Play option, doubling the $1 million prize to $2 million. Two other tickets in Michigan and Oklahoma each matched five white balls for $1 million prizes.
For Saturday’s drawing, the cash option stands at approximately $316 million, subject to federal and state taxes. The drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. ET, and tickets can be purchased until 10:00 p.m. ET on the night of the drawing.
