As of Sunday, power had been fully restored to all Statesville Public Power customers following earlier outages. Customers were reminded to report any future outages to the outage line at 704-878-3479.

Earlier in the day, at 10:12 a.m., crews had made significant progress, reducing the number of affected customers to 130. Work had continued to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
The outage had initially affected more than 3,000 customers due to two circuits being down. Crews had been dispatched to assess the issue and begin restoration efforts. Customers were urged to remain patient while crews worked to restore service safely. Authorities had reminded residents to report outages to the designated outage line rather than calling 911.
