Mooresville, NC – As part of the ongoing Brawley School Road Widening Project, a planned water service interruption is scheduled to take place overnight from Tuesday, July 1, to early Wednesday, July 2. The temporary outage will affect residents in the Churchill Estates and Windsor Woods neighborhoods as utility crews work to complete a critical phase of infrastructure upgrades.
The outage is scheduled to begin at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue through approximately 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. During this time, crews will connect newly installed water mains to existing service lines, which is necessary to support the road expansion project and to improve long-term water system reliability in the area.
Town officials noted that the overnight timeframe was selected intentionally to reduce the impact on residents and minimize inconvenience. Completing the work during overnight hours is expected to prevent the need for multiple outages and allow the connections to be completed in a single coordinated effort.
The affected area includes all homes and properties within the Churchill Estates and Windsor Woods subdivisions. A map outlining the impacted neighborhoods has been made available by the town for residents to review. Notices have also been distributed to homeowners and residents in advance of the outage to ensure proper planning.
