Planned Maintenance to Affect City of Statesville Services on May 7

by | May 6, 2025

The City of Statesville, North Carolina, has announced a scheduled maintenance outage on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This planned work will impact phone and internet services at several municipal locations.

The outage will affect the following facilities:

  • City Hall – 227 S. Center Street
  • City Office Building & Customer Service – 301 S. Center Street
  • Statesville Civic Center – 300 S. Center Street

During the maintenance window, the Customer Service Office will be closed, and access to the City Office Building will be restricted, with doors locked and phone calls going directly to voicemail.

Despite the outage, phone (IVR) and online payment systems will remain operational. Scheduled bank account and credit card drafts will also be processed as usual. Payments placed in the drop box at the City Office Building will be handled once services are restored.

City Hall and the Statesville Civic Center will remain open to the public, though staff may have limited capacity to respond to customer needs. Public internet access will continue to be available at the Civic Center.

In the event the outage lasts longer than planned, the city will provide updates through its official website at www.statesvillenc.net and the City of Statesville Facebook page.

The City appreciates residents’ understanding as it carries out these necessary upgrades.
