April 2, 2025, Mooresville, NC – Piedmont HealthCare Mooresville Imaging is pleased to announce the arrival of a Fuji Film iStream CT Scanner. This advanced technology is only offered at three locations across the state of North Carolina. Two are currently at Piedmont HealthCare locations, one at Statesville Imaging and now Mooresville Imaging.
Most CT scanners average 64-slices per scan rotation. Through this new, innovative technology, Piedmont HealthCare is able to provide a higher quality image at 128-slices per scan rotation, in addition to a lower radiation dose for our patients and a quicker scan time. These higher resolution scans and quicker scan times provide radiologists with a clearer image to deduce the most accurate diagnosis for patients and allow time to see more patients.
