A.P. Deauville has voluntarily recalled more than 67,000 cases of its Power Stick roll-on antiperspirant deodorants following manufacturing concerns. The recall affects three specific 1.8 oz roll-on deodorant products:
- Power Stick for Her Powder Fresh
- Power Stick Invisible Protection Spring Fresh
- Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection
The recall was initiated due to deviations from Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations. While the exact nature of the deviation has not been disclosed, the FDA states that the products failed to meet established manufacturing standards.
The affected deodorants were distributed nationwide and sold at major retailers including Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Amazon. A list of impacted lot codes is available online and through the FDA’s official website.
Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled products immediately. They may either discard the deodorants or return them to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange.
No injuries or adverse reactions related to the recalled products have been reported at this time.
