Ashley Lynn Jordan, age 39, of Burris Road in Newton, was arrested on Wednesday, April 16, by deputies with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Jordan is facing felony and misdemeanor drug-related charges stemming from an investigation in Iredell County.
According to official reports, Jordan has been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges were issued in Iredell County, but she was taken into custody in neighboring Catawba County. Details surrounding the circumstances of her arrest, including the events that led to the charges being filed, have not been publicly disclosed by law enforcement.
Following her arrest, Jordan was booked into the Catawba County Detention Facility. Her bond was set at $1,000, and she remains in custody as of the latest available report.
