Construction is set to begin on NC 150 near Wiggins Road and NC 152 in Iredell County, with lane closures expected to affect traffic in both directions. The work is part of a realignment and signalization project for the area.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation has announced that one of two lanes will be closed during the construction period. The project is scheduled to start on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., and continue until Monday, June 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Closures will be in place daily from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Officials warn that the work is expected to have a high impact on traffic and advise drivers to plan ahead and consider alternate routes where possible.
