Several area schools across Iredell County will operate on a two-hour delay this morning as a result of the ongoing weather conditions. School officials say the delayed start will allow additional time for improving travel conditions and ensure buses can safely navigate area roads.
Parents and students are encouraged to monitor updates from their individual schools and district communication channels throughout the morning in case further adjustments are needed.
