Mooresville to Hold Ribbon Cutting for Renovated Cornelius Road Park on October 14

The Town of Mooresville has announced that it will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Cornelius Road Park on Monday, October 14, at 1:00 p.m. Town officials are inviting residents and visitors to attend the event, which will celebrate the completion of significant upgrades to the popular community park.

The renovated Cornelius Road Park now includes three state-of-the-art artificial turf multi-purpose fields, a new picnic shelter, upgraded restrooms, LED lighting for the athletic fields, and a new food truck plaza designed to enhance visitor experience and community events.

During the ceremony, attendees will hear remarks from Mayor Chris Carney, members of the Mooresville Board of Commissioners, and representatives from Mooresville Parks & Recreation. Light refreshments will be provided.

Town leaders describe the project as a major investment in community recreation and engagement, offering new amenities that support both athletic programs and family gatherings.
