Mooresville Street Resurfacing Project Moves to New Neighborhoods

by | Jun 10, 2025

As part of the Town of Mooresville’s Fiscal Year 2025 Street Resurfacing Project, crews are continuing the mill and overlay phase this week. Work is wrapping up in the Water Oak subdivision and will now move into additional areas beginning Monday, June 9.

The next roads scheduled for resurfacing include:

  • Fieldstone Road (entire length)
  • St. Marks Drive (from Fieldstone Road to the pavement change)

The Fieldstone Road portion is expected to be completed by the end of the week.

Following that, the resurfacing project will shift to the Muirfield neighborhood. The streets to be resurfaced include:

  • Lockerbie Lane
  • Montrose Drive
  • Swift Creek Lane
  • Huntly Lane
  • Monument Court
  • Stonemason Court

The Town of Mooresville asks residents and businesses to take a few precautions during this process:

  • Remove parked vehicles from streets between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Keep children and pets away from freshly resurfaced areas to prevent tracking materials indoors.
  • Avoid using lawn sprinklers or washing vehicles on resurfacing days to ensure the pavement remains dry.

The resurfacing project is part of the town’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local roadways.
