Mooresville, NC – On July 24, 2025, at approximately 3:41 a.m., the Mooresville Police Department responded to a call for a welfare check regarding a man reportedly seen on the side of Charlotte Highway.
Officers arrived and located 28-year-old Tylor Scott Perry of Mooresville, who was found unconscious on the shoulder of the roadway. During the encounter, officers discovered a concealed handgun on Perry’s person and placed him under arrest.
Further investigation revealed that Perry was in possession of approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia.
Perry was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and other controlled substance-related offenses. He was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center, where he was held without bond.
