MARION – Law enforcement and emergency personnel have completed their investigation at the McDowell County Courthouse, determining that no threat was present. The courthouse has now reopened to the public.
In addition, previously closed roads, including Main Street, Henderson Street, Court Street, and South Garden Street, have been reopened to traffic.
Authorities expressed appreciation for the public’s patience during the response and acknowledged the efforts of law enforcement and emergency services personnel involved in the investigation.
