McDonald’s Snack Wrap Makes Long-Awaited Comeback This Summer

by | Jun 4, 2025

McDonald’s has officially announced the return of its beloved Snack Wrap to U.S. menus, with a nationwide rollout beginning July 10, 2025. Originally introduced in 2006 and removed from menus in 2016, the Snack Wrap developed a devoted following, with fans frequently requesting its comeback over the years.

The returning Snack Wrap will feature a McCrispy chicken strip, shredded lettuce, and cheese wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Customers will be able to choose between two flavor options: classic ranch or spicy.

The decision to bring back the Snack Wrap follows years of growing demand, including social media campaigns, online petitions, and frequent mentions in customer feedback. McDonald’s leadership has acknowledged that fan enthusiasm played a major role in the decision to reintroduce the item.

The Snack Wrap will be available on its own or as part of a combo meal, which includes two wraps, medium fries, and a drink. To celebrate the relaunch, McDonald’s is also introducing a new digital experience that includes behind-the-scenes content and tributes from longtime fans.

While the return has sparked excitement, some customers have expressed disappointment that the grilled chicken option will not be included—at least for now.

The Snack Wrap is expected to be offered at participating McDonald’s locations across the country, including those in Iredell County.
