CHICAGO, April 24, 2025 — McDonald’s announced the addition of McCrispy Strips and Creamy Chili Dip to its permanent U.S. menu, the first such launch since 2021. The new items will be available at participating locations nationwide by May 5.
McCrispy Strips are made with 100% white meat chicken and feature a crispy breading with black pepper seasoning. They are available in three- or four-piece servings and come with one or two Creamy Chili Dip cups, a sauce described as savory, sweet, and tangy.
The launch follows customer demand for new chicken options and underwent multiple rounds of taste testing. McDonald’s executives highlighted the collaboration required across suppliers and staff to bring the new products to market, noting that additional offerings may follow.
