TROUTMAN, N.C. (October 16, 2025) – A Harmony man was arrested early Wednesday morning following a traffic stop on Charlotte Highway.
At approximately 1:10 a.m., officers from the Troutman Police Department stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Charlotte Highway. During the stop, authorities discovered that the driver, Charles Young, 62, was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and seven concealed firearms.
Young was arrested on charges including possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and seven counts of carrying a concealed gun. He was taken before a magistrate and ordered held on a $15,000 secured bond.
