Michael David Peek has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of larcenies reported in Statesville and surrounding counties.
According to law enforcement officials, Peek was taken into custody on September 23, 2025, and faces multiple misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor conspiracy charges. The charges were filed by several agencies, including the Davie County Sheriff’s Office, Winston-Salem Police Department, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, and the Statesville Police Department.
Investigators allege that Peek is connected to thefts from several businesses in Statesville, including CVS, TJ Maxx, and Lowe’s. Authorities have not released details regarding the total value of the items taken or whether any additional suspects are being sought in connection with the case.
