After six relocations in five years, a Mooresville business is preparing to settle into its permanent home. The announcement of the new site became official last week, and a sign was installed to mark the location, signaling the start of a new chapter for the local market.
The owner expressed deep gratitude to several individuals and organizations who helped make the project possible, including the Town of Mooresville and Mayor Chris Carney for their support throughout the process. Building a small business from the ground up, they noted, is a lengthy and challenging journey, and Mayor Carney’s commitment was key to reaching this milestone.
Local partners such as Warren Dumford of Mooresville Realty and Andy Myers of Pinnacle Bank were recognized for their patience and collaboration as the business navigated financial reviews, permitting, and planning requirements. The Lowe’s YMCA, and particularly Ashley Morgan, were also acknowledged for their early support and for helping shape the vision for the new site.
The owner thanked their staff for enduring years of transitions and challenging work environments, as well as their family for their patience and understanding during the long process. Special appreciation was extended to an investigative writer whose work in 2022 helped address challenges that arose with the previous town administration.
With groundbreaking planned, the new market aims to become a destination for Mooresville and surrounding communities. The opening is expected in spring 2026.
