STATESVILLE, N.C. — On Thursday afternoon, law enforcement officials responded to a reported road rage incident near the intersection of Wall and Hull streets, where shots were allegedly fired. According to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
Following an initial response, detectives located and interviewed witnesses who stated that the individuals involved fled the scene in a vehicle shortly before deputies arrived. Crime Scene Investigators and detectives remain active in the area as they continue to collect evidence and pursue leads.
One suspect has been described as a Black male wearing lime green shorts and a black shirt. Authorities believe the individual may be armed. Residents in the area are urged to remain alert, and anyone who sees someone matching the description is asked to call 911 or the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100.
