Drivers in Iredell County should prepare for delays as lane closures are scheduled to begin on NC-150 near Wiggins Road as part of a major roadway improvement project.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will be working on the NC-150, Wiggins Road, and NC-152 Realignment and Signalization Project. The project will require one of two lanes to be closed in both directions near Mooresville.
Construction is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., starting Monday, July 7, 2025. The work is expected to continue through June 15, 2026.
The project is anticipated to have a high impact on traffic during active work hours. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and plan for potential delays during construction hours.
