Iredell Health System, in collaboration with the Iredell Physician Network, has announced the addition of Karen Rohde, PA-C, to Iredell Pain Management. Rohde is a certified physician assistant with over 20 years of experience, including eight years in Iredell’s emergency department. Her background also includes work in occupational medicine, urgent care, primary care, and industry medicine. Additionally, she has served as a medical examiner for DOT certifications and most recently worked as the Iredell Corporate Wellness provider for Keystone Powdered Metal Company.
Rohde is known for her approachable and attentive manner, emphasizing the importance of active listening as a way to address individual patient needs. She aims to support patients in achieving optimal health through collaborative care.
Rohde began her medical career shortly after high school as an operating room technician. Driven by a passion for healthcare, she pursued further education to become a physician assistant. Her approach centers on treating each patient as an individual, helping them work toward continuous health improvement.
