Deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after six dirt bikes were reported stolen from a garage in western Iredell County on Tuesday, August 19.
According to investigators, the homeowner discovered the break-in and notified deputies. Detectives later reviewed neighborhood security footage, which showed at least four suspects involved.
The video indicates that around 2:00 a.m., a dark-colored pickup truck pulling an enclosed trailer parked on Titleist Drive. The suspects then walked to a property on Ponokah Lane, forced entry into the garage, and pushed the dirt bikes away. By 4:30 a.m., the group had loaded the bikes and left the area, traveling toward Mock Mill Road.
The sheriff’s office released images of the suspect vehicle and trailer, as well as photos of four of the stolen dirt bikes.
