Iredell County, NC – As part of an ongoing effort to combat illegal narcotics, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 20 individuals for selling drugs to an undercover investigator between October and February. Arrest warrants remain active for eight additional suspects, with further arrests expected as the investigation continues.

This operation specifically targets repeat and career offenders who contribute to the county’s drug-related crimes. By identifying and addressing these sources, law enforcement aims to reduce the broader impact of drug activity on the community.

“Drug-related activity frequently leads to other forms of criminal behavior, from theft to violent offenses,” said Sheriff Darren Campbell. “By focusing on those who sell drugs, we’re addressing the root cause of many of these issues and making our community a safer place.”

The Sheriff’s Office remains committed to ongoing enforcement efforts to curb drug-related crime and protect local residents.
