The Iredell County Board of Elections has announced its 2025 “I Voted” sticker contest, open to all county students in grades K-12, including public, private, and homeschool students.
The contest runs from September 1 through September 30. Students are invited to submit original artwork featuring the phrase “I Voted.” Designs must be non-partisan, free of photographs or trademarked images, and suitable for reproduction. Entries should fit on a circular sticker measuring two inches in diameter and may be created with crayons, pencils, paint, ink, or other mixed media. Digital submissions will not be accepted.
Each student may submit only one entry. Designs can be mailed, hand-delivered to the Board of Elections office at 203 Stockton Street in Statesville, or emailed to ir********************@***********nc.us. Entry forms are available online or at the elections office during regular business hours.
A winning sticker will be selected from three grade categories: K–5, 6–8, and 9–12. The chosen designs will serve as Iredell County’s official “I Voted” stickers for the 2026 election year. Winners will be notified by phone or email.
The Board of Elections reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not meet contest rules and may make adjustments to winning designs before mass production. By participating, students grant permission for their artwork and names to be used for promotional purposes by the county.
