Iredell County, NC – In response to multiple complaints from concerned residents about suspected drug activity, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 511 Parker Avenue in Mooresville, the residence of Ira Joshua Freeze.
The search was part of an ongoing investigation into suspected narcotics sales in the area. During the search, investigators located seven grams of methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia commonly associated with the sale and distribution of illegal drugs.
Ira Joshua Freeze was not present at the residence during the execution of the warrant. Arrest warrants have been issued for him on charges of felony possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, and felony maintaining a dwelling for the sale or use of a controlled substance. Freeze is currently on probation for previous methamphetamine-related offenses.
Sheriff Darren Campbell emphasized the role of community involvement, stating, “We take every community complaint seriously. This search warrant directly results from community members who saw and said something. Their willingness to speak up plays a vital role in helping us combat illegal drug activity and keep our community safe.”
