STATESVILLE — Authorities continue to investigate a fatal plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport that claimed seven lives, including Craig Wadsworth, on December 18, 2025.
The small business jet went down shortly after takeoff, and the aircraft was destroyed on impact. All seven people on board were pronounced dead at the scene. No survivors were reported.
The crash has sent shockwaves through the Statesville community and beyond, affecting families and professional circles connected to those on board. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.
