The City of Statesville is making fall cleanup a little easier this year by offering residents free 60-gallon leaf bags through December 5, 2025.
Each household can receive one free roll of bags, while up to two additional rolls (10 bags per roll) can be purchased for $1 each through December 22. The bags are available at three convenient pickup locations:
• Customer Service Department – 301 S. Center Street
• Statesville Fitness & Activity Center – 1875 Simonton Road
• Bentley Community Center – 1410 3rd Street
City officials remind residents that the bags are for leaves only and should not be used for regular household garbage. Bagged leaves will be collected on residents’ regular trash pickup day, eliminating the need to wait for loose leaf collection.
