Early Voting will begin Thursday, October 16th, 2025 for the November. 4, 2025 Municipal and Mooresville Graded School District Elections. Voters who live inside the city limits of Statesville, Mooresville, Troutman and Davidson are eligible to vote. Elections will also be held for the Mooresville Graded School District. Voters must live inside the MGSD in order to vote in that election. The towns of Harmony and Love Valley moved their elections to even numbered years.

Voters in North Carolina will be asked to show photo ID when presenting to vote. Any registered voter can get a free photo ID from their county board of elections office. All voters will be allowed to vote with or without a photo ID. If any voter is unable to produce a photo ID when voting, they may vote a provisional ballot.
